Our Educate initiative has already made a significant impact in communities across Nepal, providing children with the opportunity to learn in safe, supportive environments. One of our proudest achievements is the successful construction of a new school in a remote village that previously had no formal education facilities.
Before the school was built, children had to walk several miles to the nearest school—an unsafe and often impossible journey during the rainy season. Many children were forced to drop out of school because of this, leaving them without access to an education.
Thanks to the support of our partners and customers, Asha Gifts was able to build a new school within the community. Today, dozens of children are receiving an education in a safe, local environment. The school not only provides classrooms but also basic amenities like clean drinking water, proper sanitation, and playgrounds for recreation.
This school has become a beacon of hope in the community, with increased school attendance and enthusiasm for learning. Parents are hopeful for their children’s future, knowing that they now have the chance to break free from poverty through education. The success of this project demonstrates the transformative power of education, and we’re committed to continuing this work.
